Makeup for Dry Skin to Get A Glow

For too many months now it feels like my skin has been dry, dull and in need of some serious sunshine (hurry up summer!) but recently I've found some life saving products to help me get my glow back.
First and foremost I prep my skin with a hydrating primer like Smashbox Photo Finish. I love Smashbox's range of primers, they have one for every skin type, and this one quenches skin and helps to lock in moisture before applying foundation. I then use Smashbox Studio Skin 15 Hour Wear Hydrating Foundation. This comes in 22 different shades so it's impossible to find one not to suit and, despite the fact it is hydrating, it isn't greasy at all and doesn't slip off my skin. I've been using this to work every day and am impressed at how long lasting it is. If I need a little extra glow I'll also mix a liquid highlighter into my foundation.

If you have dry skin it's best to opt for a cream blusher rather than a powder one to bring a glow to your cheeks. These can also double up as cream lipsticks if you need a multi use product! I also like to use tinted lip balms, such as Korres Lip Butter in Quince, which is super cheap and a gorgeous pink shade, or a creamy lipstick which is moisturising on the lips. Urban Decay Vice Lipstick has a great range of shades.
