April Empties!

It's been a long time since I've done an empties post but now that April is coming to an end I thought I could show you some of the products I've used up this month.

Clockwise from bottom: Clinique liquid facial soap, Avene Micallor Lotion, Elemental herbology moisturiser, Origins serum, Benefit High Beam, Xen-Tan, ASDA body lotion & scrub, St Tropez Gradual Tan, Bio Oil, Kiehl's Ultra Facial Moisturiser, Jergens body moisturiser

Two of the key products I have to mention from my empties are these gorgeous smelling lovelies from ASDA's nspa range. They are around £2 each but there is always some sort of promotion on like 2 for £3. If you like fruity smelling products you will love these. I bought the passion fruit body lotion as I always used to get it from the Body Shop before it was discontinued, and everyone comments on how nice I smell when I'm wearing it. The smell even lingers in my room too! The raspberry body scrub is great too and really invigorating. The nspa range is an absolute bargain!

I was given this little fake tan sample in my goody bag from the Birming Bloggers Meet Up back in January. This particular fake tan was the Xen-Tan Dark Lotion. I thought it was alright but I much prefer their Moroccan Tan and Deep Bronze lotions as they have a more luxurious feel and last a lot longer.

I product I've been loving this month is this Anti-aging serum from Origins. I received this little sample bottle when I went for a free complimentary facial and it has lasted me ages as I've only been using a couple of drops each morning. It totally smooths out the skins surface and makes a great primer before I put my makeup on.

Another anti-aging product I've been using is this Cell Plumping moisturiser by Elemental Herbology. This was also a free sample as I got a voucher for it in the newspaper. Anti-aging has been one of my skin priorities recently as despite only being 20, (21 very soon!!) I'm trying to keep my skin fresh and youthful. I didn't notice much of a difference to my skin when I used this moisturiser but I imagine it is designed for more mature women who already have the first signs of ageing.

  1. Ooh you show bio oil! I am trying to use it but it's not done much for me :L I know you're meant to use it twice a day for three months but I just can't do that! What did you use it for and did it work?? I'd love to know xx

    1. Heyy! I just used it to moisturise my skin, not specifically for scars and stretch marks. I just rubbed a small amount into my body or added a couple of drops to my bath and it helped improve my skin's texture. Like you say, I read that if you're using it to fade scars or marks you need to use it regularly over a few months! I do have some stretch marks on my body but I'm not too fussed about them and don't have the time to use it as a routine everyday to notice a difference. I think if you use it long term though it should help you :) sorry I couldn't be of much help! xx
