Famous Dave's Gradual 10

Famous Dave's Gradual 10 £17.99, 250ml
As an avid fake tan user I am always trying out new products and on the hunt for the perfect fake tan. I am naturally very pale so use self tan regularly to get a natural glow. I had never heard of Famous Dave's before so was excited to try it out.

Famous Dave's Gradual 10 is a gradual self tanner and moisturing tan extender. It contains antioxidants, Rosehip Oil and Aloe Vera to look after your skin.

The packaging is very simple with a pump action bottle which made dispensing the product easy and mess free! You use the product every day to build up a tan or as a moisturiser to maintain your existing tan.

The thing I liked most about the lotion is that it is suitable for the face and body, often you need to buy two separate products. It had a really light consistency and didn't feel thick or sticky, making it a lot quicker and easier to dry. Like most gradual tanners it did come with the fake tan biscuity smell though!

The product built up a tan in about three days. I have used the Garnier Summer Body lotion before and that turned me orange within a day of using it but this one developed nicely. It wasn't streaky or orange at all, just a subtle brown colour. After I stopped using it the tan still lasted a while and faded evenly without going patchy.

Overall I think it's a bit pricey for what it is as there are so many other gradual tanners on the market but this is a good multi-tasker as it can be used on the face and body, and will last you a long time.
